The purpose of the raided heel like a Olympic weightlifting shoe is….the amount of dorsal fkexiin you have is a limiting factor in your squat depth.When your Tibua can't move further forward you have time bebdbfirwsrd St the hips to balance yourself as you squat with a bar on uiyr back.

Leg develop wise this is a problem.The more you bend forward the more stress goes to uiyr lie back and ***** cause they are the area furthest from the centerline of the barbell.

Raising the heels…gives your more ankle flexikn which keeps your torso more upright which will tsrget your Quadriceps.Peoplevwill say your knees going over your toes puts too much stress on the knee..my answer is your VMO muscle is weak abd that's why your knee hurts in the position

Which is better???look at your form.If you can squat while still keeping your tirso upright…your fine in regular shoes.If it looks like yiur going to kiss your reflection in the mirror..cause your heels.
