Honestly I sometimes feel embarrassed to be a doll collector. But at the end of the day, we aren’t hurting anyone. Our hard work pays off, and we can finally get the dolls we’ve been wanting for so long. People on this earth do worse things, us doll collectors aren’t doing any harm. If you’re happy go for it, don’t let anyone stop you. A reason why I feel embarrassed is because I’m a teenager still, and I don’t do teenage things.. like a teenager should go out with friends, or go to school activities. I don’t have many friends, and I don’t ever go out which upsets me. A way I cope is that I buy dolls. It’s my happiness. I love the feeling when you found a doll you’ve been wanting for so long that’s a great price. I just feel like me being a teenager I’m missing out on so much things. But at the end of the day, what I’m doing is making me happy. If people judge us so what? Our happiness is what matters.
